The Work of the Holy Spirit

We Believe, that the Holy Spirit is The Third Person of the Godhead, which is known as the Trinity; God the Father; God, the Son; and God the Holy Ghost (Spirit). The Holy Spirit Is A Keeper. He will remind you of the Word of Good. So, that an individual that wants to be kept or save will be reminded of the Word concerning situations to keep you from slipping, falling or making the wrong choice. The Holy Spirit will bring all things to your remembrance concerning the Word of God; in what you have been taught. John 14:26. Ephesians one: 13–14; Ephesians 4:30; John 16:8–11; Romans 8:9.

We believe that The Holy Spirit is a Teacher. And when the Father sends the Advocate, as His representative (the Holy Spirit), that is–he will teach you all things and will remind you of everything that He (God) has said to you. John 14:26. God reveals Divine matters to us through the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit knows all things understand the deep things of God. I Corinthians 2:11. Salvation is needed to be filled with the Holy Spirit. Scripture says, ” But if the Spirit of him that raised Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken our mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwells in us. Romans 8:11. So, the 3rd Person of the Godhead/Trinity is necessary for us to have if we are to meet Jesus in Peace on that Resurrection Day. John 14:26; Ephesians one: 17–18; Ephesians 58:18; Ephesians 5:30; first John 2:20.

We believe that God is sovereign in the assignment of Spiritual Gifts to every Believer by the work of the Holy Spirit. God gives to the Body of Christ, Apostles, Prophets, Evangelists, Pastors and Teachers to equip the saints for the perfecting of the ministry and the edifying of the Body of Christ. There are other giftings as well such as Word of Knowledge, Miracles, Wisdom, Prophecy, Healing, Faith, Discernment and Distinguishing Spirits, Tongues and Interpretation Service, Encouragement, Gifts of Miracles, Word of Knowledge, Giving, Leadership, and Mercy Gifts to equip the believers in order that they can do the work of the ministry.
